One of seven pictures for a single art class project. We had to choose a theme, so I chose Macaws.

They're big, they're bold, and they're birds. What is there not to like?

I'm scanning these pictures onto my laptop, since my main computer is busted. I hope they look decent. So far, I'm not impressed with it. This picture scanned alright, but the bigger and more complex pictures don't look very good. I'll try again later on another scanner.

Not much to say about this one. I like it.

this is beautiful! what medium did you use, I cant tell if its pastel, pencil, or paint

the colors flow wonderfully and the detail and lighting are wonderful, this bird portrays a vibrant and happy emotion to compliment its likewise colors. I love this :]

I did this with Prismacolor colored pencils on black construction paper.

I'm so happy you like it! It was my first time doing a drawing like this on black paper, and I really do think it was one of the best pictures the project produced. Thank you so much for the kind comments!

Your coloring skills never cease to amaze me.
